Marathon kits should be boring and repeatable. If every death is a financial event, you will play scared and still die. Build a replaceable spine.
Primary you can shoot on the move
A sniper-only kit fails in buildings. Bring a close option even if you love long lanes.
Ammo types matter. Do not mix five calibers you cannot loot consistently.
Heals are a slot, not a maybe
If the bag is all guns, you will lose the second fight. Split space for stims and a backup mag.
Gadgets that open a path are worth more than a third legendary skin.
After a good extract, bank
Do not immediately reinvest everything into a louder kit. Keep a floor so a bad raid does not send you to fists.
