Marathon lobbies collapse on gunfire. If you always finish a fight in the open, you are farming for the next team. Move, or become loot.
Listen for the second magazine
A fight that is still going is a chance. A fight that just ended is a trap if they already reloaded behind cover.
Do not push the exact doorway they just used. Flank one building over.
Your own win is the dangerous minute
After you down a squad, you are loud, bloody, and greedy. Plate up in a room, then loot. Standing on bodies is an advertisement.
If a third team tags you, drop the extra bag. Living with a small extract beats dying with two purple guns.
Disengage is a skill
Smoke, stairs, and a hard left exist. Ego-challenging a full team because “we already committed” is how wipes happen.
